After completing Tail Wheel Training you will become a smoother better Pilot. Through tail wheel training you will learn to make better more precise approaches and landings. You will also learn how to operate aircraft more “friendly” to the aircraft itself and toughs around you. This Fun and Exciting course is a must for people who plan on owning their own aircraft, have a passion for flight or want to drastically improve their flying skills!
Upon completion of this training you will receive and FAA approved Endorsement in your logbook stating you have received proper training to operate a Tail Wheel Aircraft.

Hi Performance and Complex Training
Hi Performance and Complex Endorsements may be your next step, if so we can help. Normally it is required to do these two endorsements separately in two different aircraft but we have an aircraft that will enable you to do both in the same aircraft at the same time.
Hi Performance: High Performance is defined as an Aircraft with 201 Horse Power or more require an endorsement to operate.
Complex: An Aircraft that has Retractable Gear, Constant Speed Propellor and Flaps is considered by the FAA as a Complex Aircraft and Requires a Complex Endorsement by a qualified Flight Instructor.
Our Cessna 182RG with 235 Horse Power, Retractable Landing Gear, Constant Speed Propellor and Flaps fulfills the requirements for both Endorsements at the same time (save money by doing two Endorsements at once).
Have your navigation skills gotten rusty? Do you rely on a GPS to Navigate? Maybe your not comfortable with airspace. Aviator Flight Training can help you! We love Pilotage and Dead Reckoning. How long has it been since you did a complete flight plan? For many of us its been way to long since we computed Fuel Burn, Top of Climb, Take Off and Landing Distances, or even Weight and Balance. This is a great way to do a Biennial Flight Review (BFR). You will review and learn techniques to precisely navigate using your eyes, charts and your watch. This is so much fun and will build confidence in YOUR abilities. Student Pilots thru ATP’s are welcome!
In Precision Flying we also cover Precision Landing. Can you confidently say where your wheels will touch the ground? Can you land the airplane where you want with out power or the aid of VASI or PAPI lights? In this training we cover both power on and power off approaches and by the end you will be able to put the aircraft with in 6 inches of your goal. How priceless would his be in an emergency?
